ABOUT THE ARTIST
My name is Alexa Young
She defines the space's backbone.
Before becoming a silk artist, I was a civil engineer — and later completed a Master of Design.
I spent years studying architecture, balance, proportion and how light transforms form.
Now I use that same knowledge to create giant sculptural flowers from silk, pieces that feel alive, fluid and luminous.
Every installation is part engineering, part design, and part emotion.
This is not decor — this is the art I always wanted to create.
